When did you start at Five Forks Athletics?


Dixon - "November 2022"

Haley - "February 2022


What is your favorite workout?


Dixon - "Anything with a machine."

Haley - "I enjoy heavy lifting and any kind of EMOM!"


What type of exercise were you doing before Five Forks Athletics? 


Dixon - "Orange Theory Fitness"

Haley - "I played sports growing up, did OTF off and on during/after kids, and most recently was at a big box gym using an app."


What are your health and fitness goals and have you achieved any of those goals, how’s it going so far?


Dixon - "Be more fit and healthy. I’m in it for the long haul."

Haley - "I’d like to establish good habits as I get older and take care of this body I was given. I enjoy CrossFit because there is constantly something to learn. My goal this year is to learn bar muscle ups and back squat a certain weight…Still practicing!" 

 

Has Five Forks Athletics affected your life outside the gym?


Dixon - "There is great community here. This gym is full of good people, especially at the 4:00."

Haley - "It has definitely affected my mindset around what I am capable of. It’s challenging in the best ways, and helps me to remember I can do difficult things in everyday life."

  

Do you have any other special memories or achievements during your time here?


Dixon - "The friends made has been cool; genuine people."

Haley - " I enjoy working out with Dixon- sometimes it’s the only quality time we have in a day and I look forward to that. Several of my favorite people on the planet are here! When we moved to Greenville we didn’t know anyone so having people that feel like family is special. Also- when I lift more than my body weight, that’s pretty cool!"
