Bio

Growing up I enjoyed competition. First with my two older siblings, then in little league sports around my home town of Fountain Inn. Baseball and football were the sports that initially got me interested in physical fitness.
     Once I aged out of my local sports teams I began to search for my next “sport”. I developed a love for running (which I still hold to this day) but quickly found it to lack some of the excitement I had been accustomed to in team sports. I tried different programs but nothing seemed to stick. Then my older brother introduced me to CrossFit and I was hooked! I began CrossFit in 2012 and have since earned my level 1 training certificate and accumulated several years of coaching experience.
     As a coach, my favorite experience is helping people achieve their goals. Its an amazing thing to play a part in helping someone acheive a higher quality of life! The positive changes I’ve seen in the lives of our clients is what drives me to be the best I can be.
     Outside of the gym, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Rachel and our two German shepherd pups, Ryder and Radar. We are also actively involved in the youth and music ministries at our church  This ministry combines two of my biggest passions, good music and the Lord.
Favorite food: peanut butter. (Literally straight from the jar)
Favorite exercise: anything with a handstand.
Favorite hobby: reading.
